The Nifty Fashion Walk – Season 2, Organized by Nifty Sphere Institute of Art and Designing, E-11, Islamabad, has been a raging success. The event took place on the 22nd of February, 2024, at Roomy Hotel, F-6 Islamabad.
The event was attended by notable personalities, such as: Mr. Sher Afzal Khan Marwat, Senior Vice President PTI, Mr. Christian Niedermayer, Founder and CEO of Intellico, and many others from different business sectors and industries of Pakistan – especially Fashion and Media.
The event also achieved a historical milestone when it comes to fashion shows in Pakistan. For the very first time, the ramp walks were conducted with live music playing for the background. The music was performed by Mr. Wajih Nizami – a celebrated, contemporary-Sufi musician, known globally for his international performances. Mr. Nizami, also the founder and CEO of Rung School of Music and Arts, F-8 Islamabad, performed with his team.
The purpose of the show was to empower its students, especially women, from all walks of life to showcase their design creations in order to finish their diploma course at their institute. The show followed two themes – portrayed through two individual segments of ramp-walks i.e. Truck Art and Tuxedo, an east-west, cultural and modern fusion.
Nifty-Sphere group of companies’ Founder and CEO, Mr.Usman Shah – along with his wife, Mrs. Sidra-tul-Muntaha, designer and head instructor for Fashion and Design at their institute, announced: “Our next fashion walk, season 3, will take place in Milan Italy. As we are branching into affiliations and exchanges with international universities: the next step for the institute’s bright future.”
